Attention ALL Orlando Runners Club members,
family members, friends, coworkers and
neighbors.We need 125 volunteers for 'Outback
Steakhouse Distance Classic 12K & 3K on Saturday
afternoon; February 25, 2006.
For your participation with the race you will
receive:
"World Famous' Orlando Runners Club Shirt
Outback Shirt
Two (2) Beverage Tickets (BEER...Must be
21!)
Meal Ticket (Best Post Race Meal Ever!)
Proceeds from the Outback Steakhouse Distance
Classic will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of
Central Florida and the Orlando Runners Club
Scholarship Fund.

along the course for the Lady Track Shack 5K.
You don't need to join the 'Miles Of Men' to be
a volunteer.

ORC Runners Take-Off For Japan!
|
|
|
|
Each year four select Orlando Runners Club
members are chosen to represent Orlando as part
of our Sister City "Cultural/Running Exchange"
Program with Urayasu, Japan. The four chosen
members travel to compete in the Urayasu Tokyo
Bay Half Marathon this February and in return
the Urayasu Runners Clun sends four select
members to participate in the OUC Half Marathon
in early December.
The trip is uusually for six (6) days
(including travel) with hotel and airfare
included for each chosen representative. All
other expenses are the representative's
responsibility. Additional friends and family
may attend at their expense.
The Orlando Runners Club members are chosen
using the following criteria:
Member of the club for at least 1 year
Club involvement
ORC Challenge Standings (participation not
wins)
Ability to represent the Orlando Runners
Club
Karaoke singing
One (1) male and one (1) female under 40
One (1) male and one (1) female over 40
