MASAFUMI “2K” YAGINUMA:  URC MEMBER: SECOND TIME TO PARTICIPATE IN WDW MARATHON

Hello.  This is Masafumi “2K” Yaginuma with Urayasu Runners Club.  I plan to visit Orlando with my wife, Ritsuko, my son, Atsumiro “Attsun” 9-year-old, and two of my friends, Mr. Kaneko & Ms. “Momo” Mizunuma.  This is going to be my third visit to Orlando, and second time to participate in Walt Disney World Marathon. For the last WDW Marathon, I came with 15 members of URC.  This year, I am running in full marathon as well as 5K with my son.  For the full marathon, I hope to finish together with two of my friends.  We look forward to seeing you all at the 24-mile Water Stop.

By the way, I happen to be in charge of presenting the KANJI NAMES to the ORC Runners at the Welcome Party during the Urayasu City Marathon.  URC has already started planning for this year’s Welcome Party, and KANJI NAMES selection process has begun!

AKIHIRO KANEKO:  FIRST TIME TO PARTICIPATE IN THE WDW MARATHON

This is going to be my first time to run in the overseas as well as to run in full marathon.  I have heard that WDW Marathon is very fun event, so I have decided to register myself.  I am going to stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, therefore, not only having fun in running in the full marathon, but I am looking forward to enjoying my vacation.  In 2007, I am participating in Tokyo Marathon in February, Shonan Marathon in March, and 2 more events.  My first running event of 2007 is WDW Marathon and I look forward to experiencing the distance of 42.195km.

MOMOKO “MOMO” MIZUNUMA:  FIRST TIME TO PARTICIPATE IN WDW MARATHON

As I have visited Tokyo Disney Resort many times, Disney’s Hospitality has always touched my heart.  Just about 10 years ago when I was still in school, I visited Walt Disney World.  As I experienced the true Disney Dreams and Disney Magic, my eyes literally became heart-shaped!  After returning from that trip was the time when I learned of running can be so much fun, and running has become my hobby.  In 2007, my love for Walt Disney World will be joined with my hobby of running, and I just cannot imagine how much fun it is going to be! I just hope that I will be able to finish the race with lots of smiles!
